Roasted Asparagus and Garlic Penne


Roasted Asparagus and Garlic Penne. This dish does take a little bit of time, simply because you have to roast the garlic, but once that is done, it comes together in about 15 minutes.

Ingredients open

1 whole head garlic
1 tablespoon plus 1 teaspoon olive oil
1 – 1 1/2 pounds asparagus, tough ends trimmed and cut into 1 inch pieces
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
2 cups dried penne pasta
2 tablespoons butter
1/4 cup heavy cream
